Anorexic Woman Was Transformed And Saved By Chocolates.
According to Mayo Clinic, Anorexia is an eating disorder characterized by abnormally low body weight, an intense fear of gaining weight and a distorted perception of weight. People diagnosed with anorexia usually severely restrict the amount of food they eat and they may control calorie intake by vomiting after eating or by misusing laxatives, diet aids, diuretics or enemas.
With that in mind, one anorexic young woman recently shared what transformed and saved her life from a life-threatening eating disorder.
She is Annie Windley, weighing four and a half stone (29kg), only survived eating one piece of toast and jam a day for five years. The 21-year-old has been hospitalized five times as her staring-looking body turned her to the near de*th. In 2012, she was first diagnosed with the eating disorder after dieting led her to have anorexia.
But surprisingly, she managed to overcome the disorder after eating a single Lindt chocolate ball every day and gained 16 kg.
"It was crazy to think by eating one part of chocolate I'd instantly gain weight but that day was when I realised eating was not as frightening as I'd made it out to be. I used to refuse to eat meals, if you put lasagne in front of me I would physically shake, swear and become agitated, I could not be in the same room as food."
"Something so small was a big deal to me, I could not be near food, if I was going to eat I'd have toast with jam or low fat ready meals to avoid gaining any weight.
Now, she's been transformed and is eating healthily though it wasn't easy. In October 2017, she pushed herself to fight against her eating disorder, began to exercise again and have regular healthy balanced meals.
