Life has stages. When you were a kid, you just live like a kid. Playing and having no problem at all besides when you're hungry. When you turned into a teenager, you're trying to know who you are, what you want to do in life, trying to define what love is, and so on. But when you finally reach the stage where you have a family, it's a whole new level.

People always say that when you have your own family, everything changes. That's very well true. From being a free and all you care about yourself, turning into a family-oriented and parenthood person, that's definitely a jumping off the cliff experience.

The 28-year-old mom is very hands-on with her daughter, raising her as a playful child without gadgets. Now, Jennica is already a parenting coach, providing insights and personal experiences in the first year of their daughter in a Facebook community, “Kalinga ni Nanay”.

On the page, Jennica shares snippets of her family life and conducting workshops like potty training, the power of play, and healing through storytelling, among others.
Her husband Alwyn is fully supportive of how his wife raises their child. On Mori's second birthday, instead of giving her expensive gifts, Alwyn gave her two bags of plant boxes, organic soil, and herbs to plant.
“Ang mga regalo ni Tatay Alwyn sa aming anak na si Mori: Two big bags of organic soil, plant box in different sizes and lots of herbs!” Jennica said.

Since that day, early Sunday morning is Alwyn and Mori's bonding time in their garden.
