WATCH: Dalawang Deported OFW, Nilimas ang Kanilang Mamahaling Gamit sa NAIA
OFWs are considered as our today's heroes. Why? Because they work miles and miles away from their families and love ones to be able to earn money and send it back to the Philippines. Because of poverty, they decided to work outside the country to give their family a more comfortable life they wouldn't have if they work in the country. They deserve our respect and recognition for their sacrifices and determination.
Last November 17, 2018, two deported OFWs from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia went home only to find out that their personal belongings were all gone. According to these two deported OFWs, the police in the immigration in Jeddah said that it is prohibited to carry any of their belongings and they should be placed inside their luggage.

"Kaya po sinunod namin sila.Lahat po gamit namin nasa bagahe po,tulad ng mobile phone, alahas,at pera.Pagdating po namin sa Airport ng Pinas, nagkalat na po ang mga gamit ko,at iba naming kasamang na deport din.Direct flight po kami from Jeddah to Manila."

They went to Saudi management and they were told to wait. However, they received an email that the Saudi has no accountability on their lost belongings.
